① Liquid storage function: It is used to store and supply the liquid refrigerant in the refrigeration system, so that the profit and loss of the liquid refrigerant can be compensated and adjusted when the working conditions change. Generally speaking, when the air-conditioning system starts to work with a large load, it requires a large amount of refrigerant to circulate. After working for a period of time, the load will be reduced, and the required amount of refrigerant will be reduced accordingly. Therefore, when the load is large, the liquid refrigerant in the accumulator is replenished, and when the load is small, the liquid refrigerant can be stored.

② Filtration: In the refrigeration system, slag and dust will be brought in due to not being cleaned during manufacture, or dirt may be brought in due to the impurity of the refrigerant, or it may fall off due to the erosion of the refrigerant on the inner wall of the system components Impurities, dirt may also be generated in the pipeline, such as oxide skin and the like, as well as powder grinding debris when the compressor is running. Therefore, it is often necessary to remove these mechanical sundries and dirt through filtration to ensure the smooth circulation of the refrigerant and not affect the normal work due to blockage.

③ Drying function: used to absorb the moisture in the refrigerant. The moisture comes from the refrigerant drying is not strict, or the air enters, or the moisture dissolved in the refrigeration oil. The presence of moisture may cause an "ice block".
